Laghento

A 63-foot flagship yacht. Luxury boutique class, low and sharp at the bow, with one copper line sweeping down the topsides. Every surface was designed and modelled in 3D from a blank file.

01 · how it moves

Built to be as quick as it looks.

Performance is part of the design, not an afterthought. The engines are hidden so the lines stay clean and the maintenance stays simple, and the ride is stabilised so the speed can be enjoyed. It has not been built yet, so these are the figures it is designed to.

V12 outboards, concealed within the stern. Nothing breaks the silhouette, and every engine can still be reached for service.

A gyro stabiliser rated for up to that much reduction in motion, so time at anchor and at speed stays smooth.

02 · the spaces aboard

Two decks, and a bathroom to every cabin.

An open upper deck with the helm, the salon and the galley under a sweeping hard-top, a quilted sunpad on the foredeck, and four cabins below. The layout was shaped by what the yachting community asked for.

No base hull, no purchased model, no template. The boat on this page began as a blank file.

Design and model

Sha Mustappa designed and modelled Laghento end to end: the hull lines, the topside sweep and its copper inlay, the hard-top and its glazing, the deck plan, and the interior down to the bulkheads, frames and doors. The model was built in Rhinoceros and taken through to the rendered film above.

The brief was a boutique yacht that stands among the world's best builders, crafted with precision and a premium finish.
